154A.9 APPLICATIONS. Applications for licensure or for a temporary permit shall be on forms prescribed and furnished by the board and shall not require that a photograph of the applicant be attached to the application form. An applicant shall not be ineligible for certification because of age, citizenship, sex, race, religion, marital status or national origin although the application may require citizenship information. The board may consider the past felony record of an applicant only if the felony conviction relates directly to the practice of fitting or selection and sale of hearing aids.
