159.14 BONDS. The secretary shall require every inspector or employee who collects fees or handles funds belonging to the state to give an official bond, properly conditioned and signed by sufficient sureties, in a sum to be fixed by the secretary, which bond shall be approved by the secretary and filed in the office of the secretary of state. This section shall not apply to the deputy secretary of agriculture.
