176A.7 TERMS -- MEETINGS. 1. Except as otherwise provided pursuant to law for members elected in 1990, the term of office of an extension council member is four years. The term shall commence on the first day of January following the date of the member's election which is not a Sunday or legal holiday. 2. Each extension council shall meet at least two times during a calendar year and at other times during the year as the council determines.
