222.2 DEFINITIONS. When used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. "Administrator" means the person assigned by the director of human services, in accordance with section 218.1, to control the state resource centers. 2. "Auditor" means the county auditor or the auditor's designee. 3. "Central point of coordination process" means the same as defined in section 331.440. 4. "Department" means the department of human services. 5. "Mental retardation" or "mentally retarded" means a term or terms to describe children and adults who as a result of inadequately developed intelligence are significantly impaired in ability to learn or to adapt to the demands of society. 6. "Special unit" means a special mental retardation unit established at a state mental health institute pursuant to sections 222.88 to 222.91. 7. "State resource centers" or "resource centers" means the Glenwood state resource center and the Woodward state resource center. 8.
