249.6 CHARGE FOR CASHING WARRANT UNLAWFUL. It shall be unlawful for any person to charge a fee, service charge or exchange for the cashing of a warrant issued in payment of state supplementary assistance, or to discount or pay less than the face value of any warrant drawn in payment of such assistance, when cashing such a warrant or accepting it in payment of the purchase price of goods, services, rent, taxes or indebtedness.          Section History: Early Form [C35, § 5296-g4; C39, § 3828.036; C46, 50, 54, 58, 62, 66, 71, 73, § 249.33; C75, 77, 79, 81, § 249.6]
