252A.18 REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN SUPPORT ORDER -- NOTICE. Registration of a foreign support order shall be in accordance with chapter 252K except that, with regard to service, promptly upon registration, the clerk of the court shall send a notice, by restricted certified mail to the respondent, of the registration with a copy of the registered support order or the respondent may be personally served with the notice and the copy of the order in the same manner as original notices are personally served.
