252H.22 - SUPPORT ORDERS SUBJECT TO COST-OF-LIVING ALTERATION. - Iowa Statutes

252H.22 SUPPORT ORDERS SUBJECT TO COST-OF-LIVING ALTERATION. A support order meeting all of the following conditions is eligible for a cost-of-living alteration under this subchapter. 1. The support order is subject to the jurisdiction of this state for the purposes of a cost-of-living alteration. 2. The support order provides for the ongoing support of at least one child under the age of eighteen or a child between the ages of eighteen and nineteen who has not yet graduated from high school but who is reasonably expected to graduate from high school before attaining the age of nineteen. 3. The unit is providing enforcement services for the ongoing support obligation pursuant to chapter 252B. 4. A parent requests a cost-of-living alteration as provided in section 252H.23. 5. The support order addresses medical support for the child. 6.
