262.13 SECURITY OFFICERS AT INSTITUTIONS AS PEACE OFFICERS. The board may authorize any institution under its control to commission one or more of its employees as special security officers. Special security officers shall have the powers, privileges, and immunities of regular peace officers when acting in the interests of the institution by which they are employed.
