316.15 FEDERAL GRANTS -- PAYMENT OF RIGHT-OF-WAY AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE BENEFITS. The department may do all things necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter and to secure federal grants to make the payments required by this chapter, but the absence of federal aid to make such payments shall not discharge the obligation to make the payments. The department is authorized to pay all right-of-way and relocation assistance benefits in the full amount authorized by federal standards and rules.
