321H.8 - PENALTIES.

321H.8 PENALTIES. 1. A person convicted of violating a provision of this chapter is guilty of a serious misdemeanor. 2. A person convicted of a fraudulent practice or any other indictable offense in connection with selling or other activity relating to motor vehicles, in this state or any other state, shall not for a period of five years from the date of conviction be an owner, salesperson, employee, officer of a corporation, or representative of a licensed motor vehicle recycler or represent themselves as an owner, salesperson, employee, officer of a corporation, or representative of a licensed motor vehicle recycler.          Section History: Early Form [C81, § 321H.8]          Section History: Recent Form 97 Acts, ch 108, §34; 2009 Acts, ch 130, §34 Fraudulent practices, §714.8--714.14
