358.38 INDEBTEDNESS ASSUMED. The indebtedness of the sanitary district shall be assumed and paid by the city, and may be paid by a tax to be levied exclusively upon the property within the jurisdiction of the sanitary district as it existed prior to the conveyance and discontinuance, or by the issuance of such bonds as cities may issue for purchasing and acquiring any sanitary sewer system or sewage disposal works and facilities or both.          Section History: Early Form [C75, 77, 79, 81, § 358.32; S81, § 358.38] Referred to in § 358.39
