Chapter 21.--CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS Article 28.--TRADING STAMPS

      21-2801.   Trading stamps or similar devices redeemable in merchandiseor other thing of value prohibited.On or after April 16, 1958, it shall be unlawful for any person, firm,association or corporation to use, issue or distribute, or for any person,firm, association or corporation to furnish to any other person, firm,association or corporation to use, issue or distribute, in, with, or forthe sale of goods, wares or merchandise, any stamps, coupons, tickets,certificates, cards, or other similar devices, which shall entitle thepurchaser receiving the same with the sale of goods, wares, or merchandiseto procure from any person, firm, association or corporation, any goods,wares, merchandise or anything of value upon the production of any numberof such stamps, coupons, tickets, certificates, cards or other similardevices. On and after April 16, 1958, it shall be unlawful for any person,firm, association or corporation to redeem any stamps, coupons, tickets,certificates, cards, or other similar devices, the use, issuance,distribution or furnishing of which is made unlawful by the proceedingprovisions of this section.
