Article 38.--CRIMES AFFECTING GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTIONS

      21-3802.   Sedition.(a) Sedition is advocating, or with knowledge of its contents knowinglypublishing, selling or distributing any document which advocates, or, withknowledge of its purpose, knowingly becoming a member of any organizationwhich advocates the overthrow or reformation of the existing form ofgovernment of this state by violence or unlawful means.

      (b)   Sedition is a severity level 7, nonperson felony.
