      21-4205.   Defacing identification marks of afirearm.(a) Defacing identification marks of a firearm is the intentionalchanging, altering, removing or obliterating the name of the maker, model,manufacturer's number or other mark of identification of any firearm.

      (b)   Possession of any firearm upon which any such mark shallhave beenintentionally changed, altered, removed or obliterated shall be prima facieevidence that the possessor has changed, altered, or obliterated the same.

      (c)   Defacing identification marks of a firearm is a severity level 10,nonperson felony.
