      21-4317.   Illegal ownership or keeping of ananimal.(a) Illegal ownership or keeping of an animal is owning orkeepingon one's premises an animal by a person convicted ofunlawful conduct of dogfighting under K.S.A. 21-4315, and amendments thereto, or cruelty toanimals as defined in subsection (a)(1) of K.S.A. 21-4310, and amendmentsthereto, within fiveyears of the date of such conviction.

      (b)   Illegal ownership or keeping of an animalis a class B nonperson misdemeanor.
