Article 44.--CRIMES AFFECTING BUSINESS

      21-4405.   Commercial bribery.Commercial bribery is conferring, offering or agreeing to confer, orsoliciting, accepting or agreeing to accept, any benefit as considerationfor knowingly violating or agreeing to violate a duty of fidelity or trustby:

      (a)   An agent or employee of another;

      (b)   A person acting in a fiduciary capacity;

      (c)   A lawyer, physician, accountant, appraiser or other professionaladviser;

      (d)   An officer, director, partner, manager, or other participant in theaffairs of a corporation, partnership or unincorporated association; or

      (e)   An arbitrator or other purportedly disinterested adjudicator orreferee.

      Commercial bribery is a severity level 8, nonperson felony.
