Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 28.--CONDITIONS OF RELEASE

      22-2808.   Exoneration.When the condition of the appearance bond has been satisfied or theforfeiture thereof has been set aside or remitted, the court shallexonerate the obligors and release them from liability. A surety may beexonerated by a deposit of cash in the amount of the bond or by a timelysurrender of the defendant into custody.
