23-9,612. Recognition of order modified in another state.A tribunal of this state shall recognize a modification of itsearlier child support order by a tribunal of another state which assumedjurisdiction pursuant to a law substantially similar to this act and, uponrequest, except as otherwise provided in this act, shall:
(a) Enforce the order that was modified only as to amounts accruing beforethe modification;
(b) enforce only nonmodifiable aspects of that order;
(c) provide other appropriate relief only for violations of that order whichoccurred before the effective date of the modification; and
(d) recognize the modifying order of the other state, upon registration, forthe purpose of enforcement.
