Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES Article 11.--CONSOLIDATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE OR LEVEE DISTRICTS

      24-1107.   Same; funds used for benefit of former Missouri district;lien of bonds.All funds received by any Kansas county treasurer resulting from a taxlevy theretofore made by the former Missouri district and placed on thetax rolls of the proper Kansas county as required by K.S.A. 24-1105 shallbe used for the benefit of the former Missouridistrict and for the purposes for which such were originally levied bythe former Missouri district. If there be outstanding bonds of theformer Missouri district, the proper Kansas county treasurer shallattend to the payment of the principal and interest on said bonds as thefunds are available from tax levies and as required and called for bysuch bonds. The lien of any bonds theretofore issued by the formerMissouri district shall continue to operate on the land annexed to theKansas district and such lien shall not attach to any land lying withinthe boundaries of the Kansas district. The lien of any bonds issued bythe Kansas district shall not attach to any lands lying within theboundaries of the former Missouri district.
