      24-1222.   Chief engineer authorized to transfer territory from onedistrict to another, when; petition.The chief engineer of the division of water resources shall have powerupon a proper petition being presented for that purpose to transferterritory from one watershed district, organized and incorporated underthe provisions of article 12 of chapter 24 of the Kansas StatutesAnnotated or any amendments thereto, to any other adjacentwatershed district so organized and incorporated.
