      24-412.   Elections of directors, when; term of office.Except as otherwise provided in this section, an election to choosethree directors in each district as their successors, shall be held onthe first Tuesday in April, 1983, and an election shall be held each fouryears thereafter, on the first Tuesday in April, to choose directors.Directors elected in any district in 1980 or 1981 shall hold theiroffice until successors are elected and qualified at the election inApril, 1983.
