      24-463.   Enlargement of district; petition.Subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 19-270, whenever any drainagedistrict heretofore organized andincorporated or which may hereafter be organized and incorporated in thisstate under the provisions of this act and of chapter 215 of the Lawsof 1905, to which this act is supplemental, shall present a petition to theboard of county commissioners of the county in which the greater portion ofthe territory of the original drainage district is situated, asking for theenlargement of its boundaries and the extension of the territorial limitsof its district to include land or lands outside the original limits ofthe drainage district, such board of county commissioners shallinvestigate such petition and ascertain whether it is in conformity withthe provisions of this act.
