24-606a. Annual election of supervisors; notice.Each year after the election of the first board ofsupervisors, at a time and place designated by the board of supervisors,the landowners within the drainage district shall meet and electsupervisors of the district. Unless waived in writing, notice of the time,date and place of such meeting shall be mailed at least 15 days prior tothe meeting to the last known address of each owner of land in thedistrict. Such notice shall be published once each week for twoconsecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the district.Such notice shall be mailed and published by the secretary of the board.All such elections shall be conducted in the manner provided by K.S.A.24-605, and amendments thereto.
