Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS Article 23.--REGISTRATION OF VOTERS

      25-2309b.   Signature cards for voter registration records; request forcurrent signature card.(a) The county election officer may request that any registeredvoter whose signature does not appear in registration records sign and submita signature card on a form prescribed by the secretary of state to be includedwith the voter's registration records.

      (b)   If a county election officer determines that the reliability of theregistration records require a current signature of any voter, or if a registeredvoter's signature becomes subject to verification by the county electionofficer, and a similar signature is not on file for such voter, the countyelection officer may request that the voter sign and submit a current signaturecard, on a form prescribed by the secretary of state, to be included withthe voter's registration records.
