Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS Article 3.--INDEPENDENT AND OTHER NOMINATION CERTIFICATES; TERMS OF OFFICE; FILLING VACANCIES

      25-304.   Certificates of nomination; partycertificates; party names;presidential electors.All certificates of nomination shall be in writing, shall contain thename of each person nominated, with such person'sresidence and theoffice for which nominated. Party certificates of nomination shalldesignate the political party which the convention, primary election orcaucus making the nominations represented. When electors for president andvice-president of the United Statesare nominated, the names of the candidates for president andvice-president may also be shown on the certificates. Independent nominationpetitions for presidential electors shall contain the names of each electorand the names of the candidates for president and vice-president of theUnited States, together with the residence of each elector andcandidate. The provisions ofthis section shall not apply to city or school elections, nor to theelection of officers for which it is provided by law to be elected atthe time of city and school elections.
