25-3106. Preliminary abstracts, preparation by county electionofficer.When returns of any election are received by the county electionofficer, he shall make a preliminary inspection of the abstracts and otherrecords returned. The county election officer shall prepare a combinedtabulation of the vote totals for each candidate and question submittedshowing therein the votes at each voting place. Such tabulation shall beknown as the preliminary final abstract of election returns, in the case ofall elections for which the county board of canvassers make the finalcanvass. Such tabulation shall be called the preliminary intermediateabstract of election returns, in the case of all elections for which thecounty board of canvassers make an intermediate canvass.
