Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS Article 39.--FILLING VACANCIES IN OFFICES AND CANDIDACIES

      25-3908.   Notice to secretary of state of filling of vacancies.Whenever vacancies for candidates for governor and lieutenant governorare filled under subsection (c) of K.S.A. 25-3905, asamended, or under subsection (d) of K.S.A. 25-3906, asamended, the convention chairman shall notify the secretary of state inwriting thereof within twenty-four (24) hours. Whenever a vacancy in thecandidacy for lieutenant governor is filled under subsection (e) ofK.S.A. 25-3906, as amended, the governor candidate sodesignating shall notify the secretary of state thereof in writing.
