25-4409. Same; ballot arrangement and display ofinformation; candidate rotation; duties of election judges.(a) The ballot information, shall, as far as practicable, be in the order ofarrangementprovided for paper ballots except that such information may be in vertical orhorizontal rows, or in a number of separate pages. Voting squares orovals may be before orafter the names of candidates and statements of questions, and shall be of suchsize as is compatible with the type of system used. Ballot information shallbe displayed in asplain clear type and size as the ballot spaces will reasonably permit.Where candidate rotation is used, the votingequipment shall be capable of meeting the requirements otherwise provided inlaw.
(b) Before the opening of the polls the election judgesshall compare the ballots with the sample ballotsfurnished, and see that the ballotinformation thereon agrees and shall certify thereto onforms provided for this purpose. The certification shall be filed with theelection returns.
