Chapter 27.--FEDERAL JURISDICTION
Article 2.--PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES

      27-202.   Requests of and agreements with United States.The board of county commissioners of any county in this state is herebyauthorized and empowered (a) to make requests of the United States, for andon behalf of the county and political subdivisions whose jurisdictionallimits are within or co-extensive with the limits of the county, for thepayment of such sums in lieu of taxes as the United States may agree topay, and (b) to enter into agreements with the United States, in the nameof the county, for the performance of services by the county and suchpolitical subdivisions for the benefit of a project, and for the payment bythe United States to the county, in one or more installments, of sums inlieu of taxes.
