Chapter 27.--FEDERAL JURISDICTION Article 2.--PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES

      27-204.   Copy of agreement filed; bill to United States; receipt.The board of county commissioners shall file one copy of any agreementfor a payment of sums in lieu of taxes with the county treasurer. On orbefore the date on which any payment of sums in lieu of taxes is due, thecounty treasurer shall present a bill to the United States, in the name ofthe county, in the amount of such payment. Whenever such payment isreceived, the county treasurer shall issue a receipt therefor in the nameof the county.
