Chapter 27.--FEDERAL JURISDICTION Article 2.--PAYMENTS IN LIEU OF TAXES

      27-209.   Duty to furnish services in absence of agreement; propertyaffected by act.No provision of this act shall be construed to relieve any politicalsubdivision of this state, in the absence of an agreement for payment ofsums in lieu of taxes by the United States, as provided in this act, of theduty of furnishing for the benefit of a project all services which thepolitical subdivision usually furnishes to property in, and to personsresiding within, the political subdivision without a payment of sums inlieu of taxes. No such agreement shall be made as to any property unlesssuch property is not subject to ad valorem taxation.
