Article 11.--BOATING AND WATER ACTIVITIES

      32-1136.   Immunity from liability for damage to vessel.A law enforcement officer, and the state or any politicalsubdivision of the state that employs a law enforcement officer, arrestingor taking custody of a person for any offense involving the operation of orattempt to operate a vessel while under theinfluence of alcohol or drugs, or both, shall have immunity from any civilor criminal liability for the care and custody of the vessel thatwas being operated by or was in the physical control of the person arrestedor in custody if the law enforcement officer acts in good faith and exercises due care.
