Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION Article 11.--BOATING AND WATER ACTIVITIES

      32-1154.   Same; rules and regulations.The secretary of health and environment shall adopt such rules andregulations as are necessary to properly administer and enforce theprovisions of K.S.A. 32-1152 through 32-1154, inclusive. Thesecretary in adopting rules and regulations shall provide that any vesselhaving lawful registration from other than the state of Kansas and havingmarine toilets designed or intended to discharge marine sewage to thewaters of the state, may be operated, launched, moored, docked or used onthe waters of the state, if such vessel is in compliance with allapplicable state and federal marine toilet requirements applicable andassociated with the vessel registration. All vessels located on waters ofthis state may be inspected at any time for the purpose of determining ifsuch vessel is in compliance with this act, and the secretary or thedesignees of the secretary shall have all powers necessary to properlyenforce such rules and regulations.
