Chapter 34.--GRAIN AND FORAGE
Article 1.--PUBLIC WAREHOUSES; DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

      34-131.   Same; abolishment of positions determined to be unnecessary.(a) Those positions in the grain inspection department which,in the opinion of the secretary of agriculture, are not necessary to performthe powers, duties and functions of the department of agriculture concerningpublic warehouses shall be abolished upon September 1, 1997. Thirty-daynotice prior to September 1, 1997, shall be given by the secretary to employeesin those positions determined to be unnecessary by the secretary. No bumpingrights shall attach to the positions deemed unnecessary by the secretary ofagriculture. No further action shall be required in order to abolish thesepositions.

      (b)   The provisions of this section shall take effect on and after August 1,1997.
