Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 13.--CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION

      38-1361.   Temporary visitation.(UCCJEA 304). (a) A court of this state which does not havejurisdiction to modify a child-custody determination, may issue a temporaryorder enforcing:

      (1)   A visitation schedule made by a court of another state; or

      (2)   the visitation provisions of a child-custody determination of anotherstate that does not provide for a specific visitation schedule.

      (b)   If a court of this state makes an order under subsection (a)(2), it shallspecify in the order a period that it considers adequate to allow thepetitioner to obtain an order from a court having jurisdiction under thecriteria specified in K.S.A. 38-1348 through 38-1357 and amendments thereto.The orderremains in effect until an order is obtained from the other court or the periodexpires.
