Chapter 38.--MINORS Article 13.--CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION

      38-1364.   Simultaneous proceedings.(UCCJEA 307). If a proceeding for enforcement underK.S.A. 38-1358 through 38-1374 and amendments thereto is commenced in a courtof thisstate and the court determines that a proceeding to modify the determination ispending in a court of another state having jurisdiction to modify thedetermination under K.S.A. 38-1348 through 38-1357 and amendments thereto, theenforcing court shall immediately communicate with the modifying court. Theproceeding for enforcement continues unless the enforcing court, afterconsultation with the modifying court, stays or dismisses the proceeding.
