Article 13.--CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION

      38-1369.   Costs, fees, and expenses.(UCCJEA 312). (a) The court shall award the prevailingparty, including a state, necessary and reasonable expenses incurred by or onbehalf of the party, including costs, communication expenses, attorney fees,investigative fees, expenses for witnesses, travel expenses, and child careduring the course of the proceedings, unless the party from whom fees orexpenses are sought establishes that the award would be clearly inappropriate.

      (b)   The court may not assess fees, costs, or expenses against a state unlessauthorized by law other than this act.
