Chapter 38.--MINORS Article 13a.--CHILD ABDUCTION PREVENTION

      38-13a05.   Jurisdiction.(a) A petition under this act may be filed only in a courtthat hasjurisdiction to make achild-custody determination with respect to the child at issue underthe uniformchild custody jurisdiction and enforcement act, K.S.A. 38-1336 et seq., andamendments thereto.

      (b)   A court of this state has temporary emergency jurisdictionunder K.S.A. 38-1351, and amendments thereto, if the court finds a crediblerisk of abduction.
