Chapter 38.--MINORS Article 17.--UNIFORM TRANSFERS TO MINORS ACT

      38-1722.   Applicability.This act applies to a transfer within thescope of K.S.A. 38-1703 made after its effective date if:

      (1)   The transfer purports to have been made under the Kansas uniformgifts to minors act; or

      (2)   the instrument by which the transfer purports to have been made usesin substance the designation "as custodian under the uniform gifts tominors act" or "as custodian under the uniform transfers to minors act" ofany other state, and the application of this act is necessary to validate the transfer.
