38-2105. Reports to governor and legislature, actualand estimated receipts and investment earnings to Kansas endowment for youthfund.The board of trustees of the Kansas public employeesretirement system shallreport to thegovernor and to thelegislature on the moneys credited to the Kansas endowment for youth fund andinvestment earnings thereon atleast once each calendar quarter and on a monthly basis upon request of thegovernor, thepresident of the senate or the speaker of the house of representatives. Inaddition, theboard of trustees shall submit a report on orbefore October 1 ofeach year to thedirector of the budget, the director of the legislative research department andthe chairpersons ofthe senate committee on ways and means and the house of representativescommittee onappropriations detailing the board's estimates as to the amounts ofmoneys that would beavailable for transfer from the Kansas endowment for youth fund to thechildren's initiatives fund during the ensuing fiscal year. The directorof the budget and the governor shall use the information in such report in thepreparation of thegovernor's budget report under K.S.A. 75-3721 and amendments thereto.
