Article 22.--REVISED KANSAS CODE FOR CARE OF CHILDREN

      38-2275.   Fees and expenses.(a) When an appeal is taken pursuanttothis code, feesif the guardian ad litem or of an attorney appointed to represent aparent shall be fixed by the districtcourt. The fees, together with the costs of transcripts and records on appeal,shall be taxed asexpenses on appeal. The court on appeal may assess the fees and expensesagainst a party orinterested party or order that they be paid from the general fund of thecounty.

      (b)   When the court orders the fees and expenses assessed against a party orinterested party,such fees shall be paid from the county general fund, subject to reimbursementbythe party or interestedparty against whom the fees were assessed. The county may enforce the order asacivil judgment,except the county shall not be required to pay the docket fee or fee forexecution.
