Chapter 38.--MINORS Article 23.--REVISED KANSAS JUVENILE JUSTICE CODE

      38-2327.   Commencement of proceedings; duties ofcounty or district attorney.An action under this code shall be commenced by filing averified complaint withthe court and the issuance of process on the complaint. It shall be the dutyof each county ordistrict attorney to prepare and file the complaint alleging a juvenile to be ajuvenile offender andto prosecute the case.
