Article 6.--CHILD LABOR

      38-604.   Work permit required; exception.That all persons, firms, or corporations employing children undersixteen (16) years of age in any of the vocations mentioned in this act,shall be required to first obtain and keep on file and accessible to anyinspector or officer charged with the enforcement of this act, the workpermit as hereinafter provided for: Provided, That if such childrenare enrolled in or attending any secondary school within the state, no suchwork permit shall be required.
