39-1209. Same; local government or state agency purchase of productsfrom organizations approved for grants-in-aid.If articles or products are purchased by a local governmental agency ora state agency from an institution or organization approved for agrant-in-aid under this act, the secretary of social and rehabilitationservices may request waiver of competitive bid requirements and in the caseof state agencies the director of purchases is authorized to waive suchconditions if he determines that it would be in the public interest tonegotiate at current supply prices. All such purchases by state agenciesshall be made through the division of purchases of the state department ofadministration.
