Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE
Article 9.--ADULT CARE HOMES

      39-961.   Department on aging to assist receiver;expenses of department; repayment.(a) The personnel and facilities of the department on aging shallbe available to the receiver for thepurposes of carrying out the receiver's duties as receiver as authorized by thesecretary of aging.

      (b)   The department on agingshall itemize and keep a ledger showing costs of personnel and other expensesestablishing the receivership and assisting the receiver and such amount shallbe owed by the owner or licensee to the department on aging. Suchdepartment shall submit a bill for suchexpenses to the receiver for inclusion in the receiver's final accounting. Anyamount so billed and until repaid shall constitute a lien against allnonexempt personal and real property of the owner or licensee.
