40-203
40-203. Name of company or society; submission of name tocommissioner.No insurance company or fraternal benefit society organized under thelaws of this state shall adopt the name of any existing company or society, orany name so similar as tomislead the public. No foreign insurance company orsociety shall be licensed in this state which bears the name of any companyor society already licensed in this state, or of any insurance company orfraternal benefit society organized under the laws of this state, or any nameso similar as to mislead thepublic. The commissioner shall require the name of every domestic insurerto be submitted to him prior to commencement of business and may reject anyname so submitted when it is so similar to that of any other corporation asto mislead or tend to mislead the public.
