Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 22.--UNIFORM POLICY PROVISIONS

      40-2209j.   Same; actuarial certification of underwriting and ratingcompliance.From and after January 1, 1993: Compliance with the underwriting and ratingrequirements contained in this act shall be demonstrated through actuarialcertification. Carriers offering health benefit plans to small employers shallon or before March 15 file annually with the commissioner an actuarialcertification stating that the underwriting and rating methods of the carrier:

      (a)   Comply with accepted actuarial practices;

      (b)   are uniformly applied to health benefit plans covering small employers;and

      (c)   comply with the provisions of this act.
