      40-2228a.   Long-term care policies and certificates;reinstatement oflapsed policies or certificates due to cognitive impairment or loss offunctional capacity.The provisions of K.S.A. 40-2228a through 40-2228eshall apply to allindividual and group long-term care policies or certificates that are issued toresidents of thisstate on and after the effective date of this act.
