Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 22.--UNIFORM POLICY PROVISIONS

      40-2230.   Same; when reimbursement orindemnification required; deductibles, coinsurance and other limitationspermissible.Notwithstanding any provision of any policy, provision,contract, plan or agreement to which this act applies, wheneverreimbursement or indemnity for laboratory or x-ray services arecovered, reimbursement or indemnification shall not be denied formammograms or pap smears when performed at the direction of a person licensedto practice medicine and surgery by the board of healing arts within thelawful scope of such person's license, including services performed at amobile facility certified by the federalhealth care financing administrationand performingmammography testing by American cancer society guidelines.A policy, provision, contract, plan or agreement may apply to mammograms orpap smears the same deductibles, coinsurance and other limitations as applyto other covered services.
