Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 24.--REGULATION OF CERTAIN TRADE PRACTICES

      40-2418.   Same; failure to comply with notice; action bycommissioner.If after thirty (30) days following the giving of the notice mentionedin K.S.A. 40-2417 such insurer has failed to cease making, issuing,or circulating such false misrepresentations or causing the same to bemade, issued or circulated in this state, and if the commissioner hasreason to believe that a proceeding by him in respect to such matterswould be to the interest of the public, and that such insurer is issuingor delivering contracts or certificates of insurance to residents ofthis state or collecting premiums on such contracts or certificates ofinsurance or doing any of the acts enumerated in K.S.A. 40-2419, heshall take action against such insurer under the unfair trade practicelaw.
